Our Herd

Gideon

Picture
Gideon is our handsome Haflinger gelding, born in 1999 and standing at 14.2 hands.  He is a popular mount for many of our students.

Patty

Picture
Patty is a friendly 12 hand Haflinger, born around 2002.  This little sweety loves to eat!  We'll keep her busy, because she's already quite popular with everyone here.  Something good has come in 2020!

Mason

Picture
Mason is a very cute 13.2 hand chestnut cross-breed gelding, born around 2004.  He comes to us from across the street.  He would sneak out his yard and come up our driveway to visit the "neigh"bors (!), so in 2020 he joined the herd.

Pretzel

Picture
Pretzel is our true working pony!  He's a chestnut gelding, born in 1993.  He has taken on many of our smaller students, and is a dream to work with.

Mystique

Picture
Missy is a silver dappled miniature horse who joined BITS in October 2014.  She is by far the youngest horse here, born in 2012.  She is a most curious animal.  She's attended FisherCat games and travels to libraries, retirement homes and -- her favorite -- ice cream stands!

Bud

Picture
Bud is an chestnut colored Arabian gelding born in 2004.  He joined BITS in December 2018.  He's quite handsome when he moves with his tail up in the air.

Gypsy and Flyer

Picture
Gypsy and Flyer are a miniature horse mother and son team who came to us in December 2015.  Sometimes they join Mystique on her off-site adventures.

Mr. Jingles

Picture
Mr. Jingles, the donkey, came to BITS with Pretzel in the spring of 2018.  They are best friends, looking out for each other.  Mr. Jingles is very popular when he "goes out on the road" to events.
