** Hay Day **
Sunday, May 3rd was a big day at BITS - we received hay from New York State in an 18-wheeler tractor trailer that was too large to get up the driveway. With the help of three pickup trucks, neighbors, BITS volunteers, St. Paul School students and members of the New England College women's rugby team we got them all unloaded and up in the loft in record time! A well deserved cookout served up food upon completion. In all we had about 20 people working for about 3 hours moving 685 bales of hay. We couldn't have done it without everyone... the teamwork was phenomenal. Thank you all!!!
We're working on the "Lion's Lift," so people like Brian can get up on a horse any time of year - like when the snow keeps us from using the outdoor ramp. We've got a great start, thanks to the Sunapee Lion's Club and VMware Foundation’s Citizen Philanthropy Investments! Let's keep Brian riding. THANK YOU!
